The Gardens Ice House

Join team Coast Guard in the MHHL, the largest first responder and military adult hockey league on the East Coast. Games run every Friday between 0930-1230 beginning on September 6th 2024 running through the end of February. The regular season concludes with playoffs in mid March.

About the Event

Are you a hockey player on the job in the DC, VA, MD region? Join team Coast Guard in the Maryland Heroes Hockey League in 2024! Skills of all levels, including beginners, are invited to play. 

Games are Fridays (0930, 1030, 1230) at the Garden's Ice House in Laurel.  20-game season starting in Sept ending in Feb.  Games are every week, occasional bye-week and holidays off.  

Even if you cannot commit a full season but want to skate as available, please register as a sub so you can be placed on the roster on a space-available basis.

    This flat rate gets you on the roster for all 20 regular season and any playoff games.

  • Goalie Registration

    We ask for a commitment of at least 7 games in net from each goalie. We are not allowing pay-per-game options at this time.

  • Half Season Registration

    This flat rate gets you on the roster for half-season. Fees collected from sub payments will be used to reimburse half-season players at the end of the season.

  • Single Game Sub

    Register to be on the roster as a sub. Subs will be charged $25/game when they play to reimburse half-season players. $75 covers first 3 games of subbing.
