Capitals Military Appreciation Night

Writer's picture: CGHO StaffCGHO Staff

The Washington Capitals continued their strong support of the Miltary Community on February 7th. A number of military members were recognized during the game, including USCG BMC Lee Durfee, Officer-in-charge of ANT Crisfield, MD. After the game, members took the ice for the Annual Sea-Air game, pitting team Army vs. Navy/Marines/Coast Guard. Representing the Coast Guard were MK3 Connor Gilmartin and LTJG James Carzoli. Even with Army having former Olympic Medalist turned Officer Josephine Pucci, Coast Guard led the way with Gilmartin putting up a hat trick on the way to a 5-3 win.
