Coast Guard Hockey took on the Soo Eagles at the Pullar Stadium Saturday.
This marks the fourth time the Coast Guard’s team and the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League member have clashed. The teams play as part of the Kelsey Dawn Raffaele (KDR) Challenge’s “Put Your Phone On Ice” fundraiser.
Instead of fighting distracted driving, KDR decided to return the favor and donated over $1200 for the Sault Ste Marie Chief Petty Officer's Association to help in the midst of a Partial Government Shutdown.
