Adding to the list of professional and Olympic players that have participated in our events, congratulations are in place for Liam Gilmartin who was drafted 167th overall by the San Jose Sharks in this year's NHL draft out of the US National Team Development Program. Liam's older brother, Connor, has been a mainstay with Coast Guard hockey over the last 6 years, skating on the Championship teams for both the 2017 Heroes Cup and 2017 Armed Services Hockey Association Tournament. Connor and Liam skated together in the 2019 Coast Guard Commandant's Cup for the Stars.

Connor most recently separated from the Coast Guard but has not hung up his skates.
