26th Coast Guard Commandant's Cup Champions Crowned

The cup has been raised by a new champion this year. Congratulations to Papp's Blue Ribbon for winning the Commandant's Cup 3-0 in the Championship game against the New England Operators. The Operators bounced back from an 0-4 start to win their way to the championship game as the #6 seed.

Special thanks to Cape Cod Beer, Gannon's Tavern, and the Town of Barnstable staff for making us feel like family once again. A loud BZ to all the volunteers, especially those that jumped in last minute, to make this a memorable and successful event.

We did not know if we'd be able to get this tournament back after a four year gap. Over 100 skaters from across the country turned out, including over 25 first time participants, to truly show that the Coast Guard Hockey community is just as strong as ever. With playing backgrounds ranging from beginner to professional, we are extatic for everyone in the U.S. Coast Guard family that decided to walk through our open door.
