On May 27th, the Coast Guard Hockey Organization hosted the United Kingdom Royal Navy Hockey Team in Burlington, Massachusetts. The teams battled it out over the course of an hour, with both sides leading at multiple points in the game. It was the Coast Guard that came out victorious in a 5-man shootout after a regulation tie. The Royal Navy hockey team is currently on an 11-day tour of the US North East where they will hone their skills playing against various military, veteran, and first responder teams. Their training tour will culminate with a United Kingdom inter-service championship at the end of June.
